It pays to be part of the SOA. As a member, you have a say in setting the association's priorities and thus directly influence the political and legal framework that is central to our industry's activities. You benefit from the extensive experience of our association and its officials and also receive support with regulatory and other questions. Members also benefit from reduced prices for our training and exams.

  • Legal entities active as a company in the outdoor and adventure sector.

Natural persons

  • Self-employed guides who have successfully completed training offered or recognised by the SOA.

Membership fees for legal entities are 
calculated on the basis of the previous
year's gross turnover.

Gross turnover < CHF 150,000 = CHF 330
Gross turnover between CHF 150,000 and CHF 300,000 = CHF 660
Gross turnover between CHF 300,000 and CHF 500,000 = CHF 990
Gross turnover between CHF 500,000 and CHF 1,000,000 = CHF 1,650
Gross turnover between CHF 1,000,000 and CHF 2,000,000 = CHF 2,310
Gross turnover between CHF 2,000,000 and CHF 4,000,000 = CHF 3,300
Gross turnover > CHF 4,000,000 = CHF 4,950
