Equivalence testing of foreign qualifications
Running activities safely requires the staff deployed to have the necessary qualifications. The qualification is demonstrated by proof of completion of appropriate training (and the prescribed further training).
Recognised foreign certificates of competence
Safety in Adventures keeps a list of foreign certificates of competence that have been recognised as equivalent to Swiss certificates of competence (as of 30.11.2018). Foreign certificates named on the list do not require any further equivalence test and do not need to be replaced by a Swiss certificate. As a rule, presenting the recognised foreign certificate is sufficient.
