River Rafting
The guidelines, drawn up by a cross-association expert commission, set out the requirements for running commercial rafting trips and govern the training of full-time and part-time rafting guides at different levels. They also set out how guides are to deal with nature and the environment.
The training concept governs the training of rafting guides and consists of three modules:
- River Rafting Guide I
- River Rafting Guide II
- Tripleader
Since the 2007 season, all raft convoys must be led by guides holding the Tripleader qualification.
The Tripleader module is open to Guides I and Guides II (see General Guidelines, chapter 5).
